#3. Porcelain Bridge Restoration
A bridge restoration, otherwise known as a fixed bridge, is a way to replace a missing tooth by connecting a fake tooth to the teeth adjacent to it. Traditional bridges are a good option if you have healthy teeth that can support the added stress of supporting an additional tooth. The downside to this is that if one of those teeth gets compromised, you may have the face the possibility of losing three teeth.
If all or most of your teeth are missing, you may consider getting dentures. Dentures are artificial teeth that are removable, and they are made to resemble natural teeth. Dr. Otten designs dentures that are both functionally superior and aesthetically pleasing, but we always inform patients that over time, bone loss will progress and make it difficult for denture to fit properly.
These are some of the options are available to replace missing teeth. Do you need help figuring out which option is the best for you? If so, please contact us today to schedule your appointment.
