Jane is a 62 year old who knew she was in danger of losing multiple back teeth. What does this have to do with esthetics? Everything! One of the most important (and often ignored) principles is that back teeth cannot be stable if front teeth are not. Another principle is that teeth that don’t look good often are not functioning well. After careful and thorough evaluation we determined that this was indeed the problem for Jane. A combination of reshaping teeth to balance forces and restoring the lost tooth structure on the upper and lower front teeth with porcelain veneers and crowns gave her a beautiful smile that now functions well like it should.
